Note: I did this on my PC and the colours were originally a lot brighter - I uploaded it and am viewing it on my laptop and it is a lot duller - could you guys tell me how it looks saturation-wise? :hug:

:aww: Newest piece - two new OC yearling fillies, Callin (left) and Reani (right).
This was originally a piece done as a prize, but halfway through I received a note requesting a change of prize subject i.e one horse instead of two, so I changed about and made it into my own characters.

These two aren't the subjects of long planning, but more whims of the moment. :D But I likes them.

Callin is a nervous wreck; she starts at every shadow...and leaps at it with hooves and teeth. Half-mad from a traumatic forest fire in which her half-demon father and mother perished, she is taken in by a small, roaming herd. Reani is the daughter of the head stallion of the herd; she was of an age with the strange black filly and they took to each other. Serene and wise beyond her years, the young palomino dun is a foil to Callin's dark temper.

Please critique, especially on the background and shading! :aww:
